The Washington, DC metro area CopyNight is participating in the global celebration of the Creative Commons' 6th Birthday. The format will be a multimedia pot luck. Bring your favorite music and video released under a CC license to share. We'll provide the means to playback your media, bring some information about the work and/or the artist. Wish the Creative Commons a happy birthday by introducing your favorite CC using creators to new fans.
Public Knowledge, a Washington, D.C.-based public interest group, has generously donated the use of their space for the party. Public Knowledge's office is located a few blocks North of the Dupont Circle Metro Station on Connecticut. The lobby door locks at 6PM but one of the CopyNight folks will be waiting just inside the door to let you in and direct you to PK's office. If no one is visible in the lobby, please call the event coordinator at (240) 498-7794.
Tickets are not required but all purchases go towards providing food and drinks for the party.
